“This is our last microchipping event for the year, and it is going to be a BIG one! In memory of Harveigh’s Story, Fort Bend Pets Alive is donating 100 microchips to Katy Community ‘Chip Clinic! We will offer ONE FREE MICROCHIP PER FAMILY, and $5.00 for EACH ADDITIONAL PET (while supplies last).
We are looking forward to serving the Rosenberg community right at the gazebo in next to City Hall! PLEASE NOTE: cash only, must bring rabies certification paperwork (not just the collar tag). Dogs should be on a non-slip lead, no retractable leashes, please! Cats and rabbits should be in carriers. Limit of two pets per family, please, unless pre-approved.
Make sure if your pet escapes your home, they can easily be traced back to your contact information on file, because they have a microchip!
Katy Community ‘Chip Clinic is a partner of Fort Bend Pets Alive, a movement dedicated to offer help to all Fort Bend County and city shelters to make Fort Bend County a no kill community through programs such as off site adoptions, education & community outreach, low cost spay and neuter surgeries, fostering. They promote TNR that helps manage feral cat population, the P.A.S.S program (Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender), and help companion animals in immediate danger from euthanasia list.
Microchipping more pets helps them get home quicker, so they aren’t taking up the space that is SO needed to give homeless pets a chance at finding their new homes.
KCCC is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization.”
