Come speak or support our goal to make sure the Proposed FY 2017 Budget Reflect the Departmental Goal of increasing adoptions to save lives of shelter pets.

A more optimal budget solution is to possibly reallocate money targeted for euthanasia drugs and carcass disposal to wellness drugs to get shelter pets ready for adoption.
This would make the budget in compliance of the
“Department Goal # 2 to administer a successful animal adoption program to find forever homes for as many animals as possible and reduce euthanizations.”

The Mayor’s and Council’s Stragetic Plan Goal #1 to “effectively manage the growth that will occur in Rosenberg in the coming years” and Goal #2 to “increase the public’s confidence in the City of Rosenberg” WILL NOT be met with the proposed FY 2017 Budget.
